Waaree Renewable Technologies Secures 124 MWp Solar EPC Order
Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited (WRTL), part of the Waaree Group, has received a Letter of Award (LOA) for the turnkey engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) execution of a 124 MWp DC solar power project in India.
The project comprises a 124 MWp DC/88 MW AC solar PV plant along with an associated 132/33 kV Pooling Substation (PSS). WRTL will undertake the engineering, procurement, construction, installation, testing and commissioning of the solar PV plant and its associated balance-of-system infrastructure.
The awarded scope also includes the engineering, procurement, civil works, erection, installation, testing and commissioning of the associated pooling substation. The solar generation assets will be developed across multiple project sites, further expanding WRTL’s portfolio of utility-scale renewable energy projects.
Commenting on the order, Sunil Rathi, Director, Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited, said the award reflects growing customer confidence in the company’s EPC capabilities and execution strength. He added that large-scale projects will support India’s transition towards cleaner energy while enabling WRTL to deliver renewable energy infrastructure at scale.
The order further strengthens WRTL’s presence in India’s utility-scale renewable energy market and highlights its capabilities in delivering integrated solar EPC solutions, including solar plant infrastructure and high-voltage power evacuation systems.
