The first edition of REPAX India – Solar Summit & Awards 2026 concluded on a highly successful note, bringing together leading policymakers, industry experts, technology innovators, manufacturers, EPC companies, and renewable energy stakeholders for impactful discussions, knowledge exchange, and recognition of excellence in the solar sector.
Held at Radisson Blu, Nashik, Maharashtra, the summit emerged as a successful platform for meaningful conversations around India’s evolving solar landscape, with discussions centred on solar manufacturing, energy storage, technological innovation, and the future growth opportunities within the renewable energy ecosystem.
The event received an overwhelming response from industry participants, with attendees appreciating the quality of discussions, networking opportunities, and the overall execution of the summit. The summit commenced with an auspicious lamp lighting ceremony, marking the beginning of a day dedicated to collaboration, innovation, and accelerating India’s clean energy transition. The ceremony was graced by Mr. Subh Chandra, Director, RenewableMirror; Mr. Abhijit Kelkar, Vice President, Maharashtra Economic Development Council (MEDC); Mr. Shirish Garud, Consultant & Ex-Director, TERI – The Energy and Resources Institute; Dr. Prashant Khankhoje, Author, 3x TEDx Speaker & Founder MD, A2Z Energies; and Mr. Mahendra Bharaskar, AGM-BDM, Anand Ebeam Cables (Solar).
Addressing the gathering, the distinguished guests shared valuable perspectives on India’s renewable energy journey, highlighting the importance of innovation, collaboration, advanced technologies, and industry partnerships in strengthening the country’s clean energy ecosystem.
The first session, titled “Solar Manufacturing – Building India’s Global Leadership,” focused on India’s ambition to become a global hub for solar manufacturing.
The session explored domestic manufacturing capabilities, technological advancements, supply chain resilience, policy support, and strategies to enhance India’s competitiveness in the global solar market.
The session was moderated by Mr. Abhijit Kelkar, Vice President, Maharashtra Economic Development Council (MEDC).

The panel deliberated on renewable energy integration, grid stability, emerging storage solutions, policy frameworks, investment opportunities, and the role of storage technologies in enabling a reliable clean energy future.
