IB Solar marked a significant milestone in its clean energy journey with the launch of its IBHI Series Hybrid Solar Inverters at the Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo 2026. The launch reflects the company’s commitment to expanding its product portfolio in line with evolving market requirements and the growing demand for integrated solar energy solutions.
The occasion was graced by Mr. John Grimes, CEO of RECAP and Chair-Elect of the Global Solar Council, and Dr. A. K. Jain, former Managing Director of REIL. During the ceremonial curtain-raiser, Mr. S. K. Mahajan, Mr. Abhinav Mahajan, Aviral Mahajan and Aakshi Mahajan felicitated the distinguished guests, marking an important moment for the company.
The introduction of hybrid solar inverters comes at a time when the market is increasingly looking towards flexible solar solutions that can combine solar generation with battery storage. Anticipating the growing demand for hybrid solar systems, IB Solar aims to strengthen its presence in the channel sales segment by offering a more comprehensive product portfolio. With the addition of hybrid inverters to its existing range of solar modules and energy storage solutions, the company is working towards providing channel partners with a more integrated offering to cater to diverse customer requirements.
The emerging opportunities in the residential solar market are also expected to create greater interest in hybrid systems. As the PM Surya Ghar initiative evolves, the potential for residential solar solutions incorporating battery storage is an important area of market interest. IB Solar aims to address this opportunity through hybrid system solutions across capacities ranging from 1 kW to 10 kW, subject to applicable scheme provisions and package availability.
With this launch, IB Solar reinforces its focus on product diversification, channel partner development and innovation-led growth. By broadening its offerings across solar modules, hybrid inverters and energy storage, the company is positioning itself to respond to the changing needs of India’s renewable energy market and contribute to the wider adoption of clean, reliable and efficient energy solutions.
