Delta Electronics India Plans AI-Powered Renewable Energy and Microgrid Engineering Centre in Tamil Nadu
Delta Electronics India has proposed the establishment of ARIVAM (AI Data Centre, Renewables, Integrated Micro Grid Solutions, Validated Engineering and Management Centre) at its existing facility in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. The proposed centre will focus on testing, validation, engineering, and lifecycle management of AI data centres, renewable energy systems, and integrated microgrid solutions.
The initiative was discussed during a meeting between Delta Electronics India President Benjamin Lin, Managing Director Niranjan Nayak, and the Government of Tamil Nadu. The company also explored potential collaborations in areas including energy infrastructure, energy storage, AI data centre development, smart manufacturing, and industrial automation.
The proposed ARIVAM centre will build on Delta’s existing manufacturing presence in Krishnagiri and aims to support the development of sustainable infrastructure solutions by combining artificial intelligence, renewable energy technologies, and advanced microgrid capabilities.
The company stated that the initiative aligns with its focus on energy efficiency, carbon reduction, and Industry 4.0-driven smart manufacturing. Delta’s Krishnagiri facility already serves as a reference site for advanced automation and sustainable manufacturing practices.
Through this proposed centre, Delta Electronics India aims to strengthen its role in supporting India’s evolving clean energy ecosystem and the growing demand for intelligent, reliable, and sustainable energy infrastructure.
